Planning factors

Make the smallest detail readable from the furthest seat.

Viewing distance, room width, ambient light and slide design determine whether projection, large displays or multiple screens are appropriate.

01

Sightlines

Screen height and position are checked against seating, staging and presenter positions.

02

Content

Aspect ratio, text size, video playback, sound and presenter devices are confirmed.

03

Signals

Cable routes, connection formats and backup playback arrangements are planned end to end.

How it comes together

From brief to event day.

  1. 01

    Review

Share the room layout, audience estimate and examples of the presentation content.

  2. 02

    Choose

We recommend projection or displays based on image size, light and practical positioning.

  3. 03

    Test

Connections and final presentation files are checked before the programme starts.

Questions

Before you book.

Should I use a projector or a large display?

Projection can create a larger image where light and throw distance are controlled. Displays can provide a bright image in smaller spaces. Audience distance and content should decide the format.

Can presenters use their own laptops?

Yes, when connection types and content have been checked. A dedicated presentation laptop can provide a more controlled handover where several speakers or frequent file changes are involved.
