Planning factors

Use stage area where it improves visibility and flow.

Stage size and height should follow the number of people, furniture, performance needs and audience sightlines. It also needs safe access and enough room for microphones, lecterns and displays.

01

Footprint

Presenters, panels, instruments, lecterns and furniture are laid out before dimensions are agreed.

02

Access

Load-in route, floor conditions, steps and backstage movement are considered.

03

Integration

Screen, loudspeaker and lighting positions are coordinated with the stage rather than added later.

How it comes together

From brief to event day.

  1. 01

    Plan

A room plan and programme establish stage purpose, dimensions and position.

  2. 02

    Coordinate

Finishes, access, AV positions and venue rules are agreed before delivery.

  3. 03

    Install

The system is built and checked within the confirmed access window.

Why it works

Planned as part of the event.

01

Stage size considered with room capacity

02

AV positions planned together

03

Clear access and setup arrangements

Questions

Before you book.

How large should an event stage be?

It depends on how many people and objects need to be on it at once. Provide the panel size, lectern, furniture, performance footprint and available room dimensions so a practical size can be discussed.

Can staging be supplied without a full AV package?

Standalone staging may be available. Venue access, floor conditions, required finish and responsibility for adjacent sound, lighting or screens still need to be confirmed.
