Projectors, projection screens and large-format displays can be considered against viewing distance, room light and presentation format. Connections and playback sources need to be scoped with the display.
Lighting
Light where the event needs it.
Event lighting may support presenters, performers, stage areas or the wider room. Fixture positions and control depend on the venue and desired look.
Presentation equipment
Treat playback as part of the system.
Presenter devices, connection formats, video sound and file handovers should be confirmed before the event. Supported hire can include setup and testing rather than leaving those checks until doors open.

Dry hire or supported hire.
Dry hire may suit a straightforward system operated by somebody competent and agreed in advance. Supported hire can add delivery, installation, testing or an operator where the setup or running order needs it.

Can I hire AV equipment without an operator?
Dry hire may be available depending on the equipment and event. More involved sound, video or cue-led systems may be better supplied with setup or operating support.
Can equipment be delivered and set up?
Delivery, setup and testing can be included when agreed in the quote. Provide the venue access window and collection requirements so the logistics can be scoped.
What should I provide for an AV hire quote?
